How to Measure for a T-Shirt
Chest (most important)
Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest — right across your nipple line. Keep it parallel to the floor, snug but not tight. Breathe out normally and read the number. This is the measurement the calculator uses.
Waist (optional check)
Measure around your natural waistline, roughly two inches above your hip bones. Useful when your chest and waist fall in different size ranges — common for athletic or hourglass builds.
Tips for accuracy
Measure over a thin t-shirt, not bare skin or thick layers. Stand straight with arms relaxed. Have someone help if you can — self-measuring can pull the tape unevenly. Round to the nearest half inch.
